Who We Are
Established in 1905, the University of the Free State Faculty of Law has been striving to inspire excellence and transform lives through quality education, impactful research, and compassionate care. Its inaugural participation in the 31st Vis Moot is testament to that, with the Faculty exploring new frontiers and illuminating new opportunities for its students.

Buhlebenjabulo Greaterman Dladla
Buhlebenjabulo is an LLB final year student at the University of the Free State.
Esihle Mbiyo
Esihle Mbiyo is currently doing her 3rd year LLB at the University of the Free State.
Lindiwe Veronicah Molupe
Lindiwe Molupe is an LLB Graduand, job shadower at Mavuya Attorneys and an entrepreneur amongst others.
She has embarked on a few student leadership programmes, dedicates most of her time reading and has served as peer mentor. Last but not least, she a 2x Golden Key Recipient, a volunteer and sells muffins as a side hustle.
She is goal driven, resilient, hard-working, honest and never gives in to anything less than what she worked for. She is a prospective LLM candidate and an an aspirant legal practitioner.
Sebabatso Sesing
Sebabatso Sesing is doing her penultimate year at the University of Free State. She pursued a career in law after obtaining 4th position at the National Schools Mooting Competition in 2018.
She served the university as a law and computer literacy tutor. She held the office of Deputy Secretary and Academic Officer of the South African Women's Lawyers Association. She ran a successful sanitary pads drive that assisted the University's residence girls with a semester's supply of sanitary towels and toiletries as a Head Mentor. She received an award for Best Tutor in the Law Faculty for two consecutive years.
Sebabatso received an accolade from the Dean for being the highest performing student in Labour Law in 2023. Her hard work and diligence have led to her been promoted as a Student Assistant for the coordination of the tutorial programme in the Law Faculty for 2024.
Sinovuyo Mbiyo
Sinovuyo Mbiyo is from South Africa, from the University of Free State. She is currently a third year Bachelor of Laws student.
Adriaan Jean Vermaas (Coach)
Adriaan is the In-House Legal Counsel and Head of Legal at the De Jesus Group, where he handles the legal matters of the food, beverage, restaurant, logistics, and petroleum industries. He specializes in labour law, industrial relations, and human resources.
He has a B Com Law and LLB from the University of the Free State in South Africa, and a LLM in International Business Law from Tilburg University in the Netherlands.
He is passionate and driven about his work, and he believes that people are the most valuable asset of any company. He always adheres to the highest ethical standards in his profession.
