Who We Are
We are a team of law students at University Eduardo Mondlane and we are highly motivated to participate in the Moot Court Competition. To us, it represents an incredible and amazing opportunity to practice what we have been learning since our first contact with law issues, specifically International Commercial Law and Arbitration. And last, but not least, we are committed to make this opportunity a valuable journey of growth and development of soft skills.
Télvia Eunice Vitorino Cossa
Télvia Eunice Vitorino Cossa is a final year student at the Faculty of Law at Eduardo Mondlane University and views the Moot Court team as a great opportunity to practice and learn more about arbitration. She looks forward to using her mooting skills in professional practice including alternative dispute resolution and international law.
António Óscar Alfredo
António is a final year Law Student at Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo, Mozambique. He is passionate about his field of study and looks forward to learning more. Being part of a team that will participate in the Moot Court represents to Anónio an incredible opportunity to learn more and practice what he is studying: the law.

Erica Cardoso
Erica Cardoso is a final-year law student at University Eduardo Mondlane. She believes that the moot court is a great and unique opportunity learn in practice how arbitration and mediation works and to network with people from other countries.
Marla Carlos Tembe
Marla Carlos Tembe is a law student at Eduardo Mondlane University, currently in the last year. She is always willing to learn and embrace new challenges. Taking part in the moot court is an amazing opportunity to develop skills in International Commercial Arbitration.
Deyse Nuvunga (Coach)
Deyse Is currently studying Law at Eduardo Mondlane University. The Willem C. Vis Moot Court came to her as a new and exciting opportunity to learn new skills in terms of pleading and also to gain more knowledge in arbitration. She looks forward to share and learn different thoughts on the same matter so that she can embrace new ideas coming from this great adventure.
Hendro Muchiguere (Coach)
Hendro is an undergraduate law student at Eduardo Mondlane University. Hendro believes that studying law is rewarding, challenging, and continually changing. Learn mediation skills and Practices, performing in the moot court will help him know how to conduct in-depth research on almost any topic as well as writing well, being able to articulate complex thoughts and theories, alongside in-person presentations and public speaking.
Vérman Belém Gumende (Coach)
Vérman Is a Law student at the Eduardo Mondlane University. He is currently attending 4th year of degree in Law. The passion he has for Law, makes him intend to face challenges related to his academic training, and that is why when he heard about the moot-court concerning international commercial arbitration promoted by Annual Willem c. Vis international commercial Arbitration Moot, he did not hesitate to manifest his interest in joining the team that would stand for his Faculty. From this experience, he would like to enhance his knowledge regarded to international Arbitration and improve his skills in the discussion of law issues involving different people from different countries.
Thaís de Oliveira Gomes (Coach)
Thaís Gomes is a student at the Eduardo Mondlane University, currently attending the 4th year in the Law degree. She found interest in participating in the Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot because it represented a great opportunity to learn more about Arbitration and also to gain some initial experience in practicing Law. Not to mention the chance to deepen the knowledge about international commercial law and be part of a multicultural environment.
