Who We Are
Strathmore Law School is a private law school located in Nairobi, Kenya which opened its door in 2012. They are one of the founding members of Africa in the Moot as a beneficiary university in the 2020 Vis Moot Vienna.
Fenan Estifanos
Fenan is in her final year at Strathmore Law School. Her interests include international commercial arbitration, competition law, trade law and refugee law. These interests have been sparked by her extensive experience in different moot court competitions - including the Willem C. Vis Moot.
Baraka Wanyanga
Baraka is in his 2nd year at Strathmore Law School. He is interested in politics/geopolitics, Maritime Law, Arbitration and Logistics. The VIS Moot represents his first international and external moot court competition and he is incredibly excited to represent his school and country.
Irene Muhoro
Irene is a third year law student at Strathmore Law School. Her interests include international commercial arbitration, women's rights and employment law. Irene gives credit to her participation in the 28th Willem C. Vis Moot Competition for a variety of skills including research, memo writing, and public speaking.
Winnie Kiberu
Winnie is in her final year at Strathmore Law School. Her interests include children’s rights, IT law, arbitration, and geopolitics. She credits the 28th Willem C. Vis Moot Competition for a new appreciation and curiosity for international commercial arbitration, and a diverse bouquet of practical skills.
