Africa in the Moot wins Innovation in Arbitration at 4th Africa Arbitration Awards

We are proud to announce that Africa in the Moot has won the Innovation in Arbitration Award at the 4th Africa Arbitration Awards, hosted by the East Africa International Arbitration Conference.

We are modest but mighty, having grown exponentially in just 2 years, not only in numbers but in positive and sustainable impact for our community beneficiaries and the footprints they are creating for African arbitration. As an initiative headquartered in East Africa, we are truly honoured that our efforts to promote equal representation, diversity, and sustainable inclusion of talented (future) African lawyers in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and in international arbitration could be recognized in the region and be part of the memorable occasion that was the 10th East Africa International Arbitration Conference.
