GAR Awards 2023: Africa in the Moot wins for Best Innovation by an Organisation or Individual

We are excited to announce that Africa in the Moot has won the Award for Best Innovation by an Individual or Organisation, at the Global Arbitration Review Awards 2023, held in Paris. This Award comes in recognition of the Inaugural East Africa Pre-Moot, held in February 2022 in Nairobi.

We are honoured that our efforts to promote representation of talented (future) African lawyers in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and in international arbitration could be recognized in such a remarkable forum and occasion. Congratulations to all other nominees and winners, it is a privilege to stand alongside you.

We are grateful for the support of all of our co-hosts Jones Day and Loyola University, and all partners, sponsors, volunteers, students and all other friends who form part of this excellent community.
