Who We Are
Makerere University joined the Africa in the Moot initiative in 2021 and will be participating in the VIS Moot for their 1st time. They are extremely dedicated to doing their country proud and as such, organized and planned their own Kampala based Pre-Moot with the support of the AitM Organization.
Patricia Katusabe
Patricia Katusabe is a law student at Makerere University with a passion in legal research in areas of International law and corporate governance. She loves helping her community through legal aid programs and is determined to make her contribution to the world.
Victor Andrew Taremwa
Victor Andrew Taremwa is a third year law student at Makerere University, Kampala. He enjoys Mooting and is excited to be participating in the 29th Willem C. Vis Moot. His interests outside academics include creative writing and poetry. Victor is also currently serving as the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the Makerere Law Society.
Arthur Emuron
A law student at Makerere University with an intense passion for commercial law, Banking and the general dispensation of justice. As a prospective Advocate, the objective is to acquaint myself with as much legal knowledge as I possibly can for the intended success I pursue.
Jordan J. Mugabi
Jordan Mugabi is a second year student of law at Makerere University. He is passionate about commercial arbitration, corporate finance, and social justice. He hopes to constructively contribute to those fields after graduation.
Percy Christopher Mpindi
Percy Christopher Mpindi is a third year student of law at Makerere University where he also serves as the President of the Makerere Law Society. He is a participant in the 29th Willem C. Vis Moot with a keen interest in commercial arbitration and ADR. He is keen to contribute to this field through legal scholarship and persuasive authorship. He also loves poetry and good books.
